Avenir Light is a clean and stylish font favored by designers. It's easy on the eyes and a great go to font for titles, paragraphs & more.

CHRONIC PAIN TREATMENT
Beneficial for: Low back pain, fibromyalgia, cancer, lymphedema, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), scoliosis, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, headaches, piriformis syndrome, disc herniation, anxiety, depression and more.
If your pain is caused by soft tissue dysfunction, there is a good chance that massage therapy can help alleviate it*. If the cause is structural, systemic, progressive, psychological or undiagnosed, massage can provide temporary relief of many of the symptoms associated with such conditions*. When there is an abnormal function in your body, your soft tissue and joints compensate which may cause additional pain and discomfort that can be reduced with massage*.

THERAPEUTIC RELAXATION
Beneficial for: Stress, anxiety, depression, headaches, migraines, tension, chronic pain, sprains, strains, scar tissue, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, adhesions, contractures, nerve impingements, fractures, torticollis (stiff neck), dislocations, surgery rehab* and more...
Relaxation massage involves Swedish techniques that include long gliding strokes, kneading, and deep circular motions applied incrementally to each layer of soft tissue. This modality may also include rhythmical mobilization (for joints), passive range of motion, and stretching. Vibrations and tapping/percussive techniques can also aid in the relaxation process. A relaxation massage is not just for pampering or providing a luxurious experience; it can effectively reduce tension, improve posture and range of motion, promote circulation of blood and lymph flow, prevent injury, maintain joint health, and decrease muscle pain & discomfort caused by everyday stresses and activities.

INFANT / ADOLESCENT MASSAGE
Beneficial for: Muscle tension, poor sleep habits, stress, digestive issues, torticollis (a specific type of stiff neck), injury rehabilitation and more.
Massage therapy isn't just for adults! Many infants and children can benefit from massage whether it's used as a relaxation technique or in a rehabilitative way due to an injury. Adolescents who engage in a lot of physical activity (i.e. dance, sports) are susceptible to muscle aches, overuse injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay in the room for the treatment (and this is always the case with an infant client) however adolescent clients often choose to have their parent/guardian wait outside the treatment room. As long as an adolescent can understand and communicate with the therapist they are capable of having a massage therapy treatment on their own. Seeing a new health care professional and experiencing a new modality such as massage therapy can be scary and so clear, concise language is used to ensure they know what is going on at all times and client empowerment is a key components to help ensure a positive experience.

PERINATAL MASSAGE
Beneficial for: Stress, anxiety, headaches, backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, edema (swelling), breast tenderness, shoulder stiffness, piriformis syndrome (sciatic pain).
Massage therapy can help reduce pain and discomfort from symptoms that are associated with the changes the body experiences during pregnancy*. Therapeutic massage can also help reduce stress / anxiety by affecting the nervous system; decreasing sympathetic nervous system firing helps quiet the "fight or flight" response. Prenatal massage can support your muscles and joints as your body shifts to accommodate a growing fetus and postnatal (after delivery) massage addresses concerns that may arise while recovering from giving birth and adapting to caring for a newborn.

SCAR MASSAGE
Beneficial for: Symptoms related to incision/wound healing and scar formation such as pain, hypersensitivity, decreased blood flow, loss of range of motion, stiffness, swelling, numbness / lack of sensation.
Massage therapy can help support an optimal healing environment for newly forming scar tissue. Specific techniques such as lymphatic drainage, cross fiber frictions, and myofascial release can decrease your recovery time by treating edema, mobilizing scar tissue and adhesions, bringing blood flow and nutrients to the affected area, and helping to align the collagen fibers so your scar is as flexible and moveable as possible.
The image here is of a caesarean surgery scar however these techniques can be utilized for any scar and are more effective if started as soon as the incision is closed and free from any signs of infection.
